 Who is this couse for?

This course is ideal for any employee subject to a drug free workplace program which meets the following criteria:

  • Utilizes a medical review officer for non-negative laboratory test results
  • Utilizes a SAMSHA certified laboratory (Quest Diagnotics, LabCorp, etc.)

Employee Awareness

Employees subject to substance abuse testing in the workplace need to have a clear understanding of the drug and alcohol testing process they are subjected to. Since most employees are not very likely to pick up your company’s drug free workplace policy and read it front to back they end up “learning” the basics from other employees who also have not read the policy, or worse, have a complete misunderstanding of it. Even if you have that one super-motivated employee who actually reads your policy, they end up simply reading the rules which typically do not provide information about why substance abuse testing is important, or what safeguards exist to help protect them.

Employees need to have a clear understanding about what behavior is prohibited, why they cannot simply refuse to test, and what the consequences might be if they test positive or refuse.

Additional student names can be submitted via spreadsheet or manually entered via the button below. Be sure to include an employee ID (no SSN’s) and first and last name for each student. We also offer the option for admin users to enroll employees without having to contact athandtraining.

How long can the course be accessed?

You have a full year from the date ordered to access the course.

What can administrative users do?

Administrative users can view students course progress, view certificates, run reports and add employees to a course.

How are certificates generated?

Students can print or save (.pdf) their certificate of completion after completing the course. The certificate will display their full name, employee ID/username, and date completed. Records will be stored online for administrative users to access as needed.
